Awarding Excellence

In an effort to recognize employees for outstanding performance, proficiency, and service to the citizens of our community and the Deptford Police Department, the Office of the Chief of Police intends to award Police Officers and Supervisors for their service quarterly and annually.  This policy is established to enhance and promote morale and general “Esprit de Corps” in the Police Department through recognition and commendation of our Department’s finest and most dedicated employees.  It further establishes a means to demonstrate and inform the public about the dedicated and committed outstanding service of our Police Officers and employees in the interest of public safety.
