Deptford Township is located in northern Gloucester County, New Jersey.  The Township was founded in 1693.  The municipality contains 17.5 square miles and over 500 local municipal roads.  Our population is approximately 31,000 residents.  We have a high school, middle school and seven (7) elementary schools.  We have state of the art youth recreation facilities and numerous parks.  We are centrally located in South Jersey.  Deptford has a thriving business community and the best restaurants.  We have approximately 11,000 living units from beautiful singles to townhomes and apartments. 

We are also the landing site of the first flight in America's history.  The old Clement Oak tree marks the area of this most historic event.
