From Deptford Township Mayor & Council
We want to publicly thank our Deptford Township Public Works and MUA crews for their outstanding efforts in the last two days. The Nor-Easter was a major two-day event and presented an extremely challenging situation for salt and plow crews keeping our streets passable and safe. It is impossible to time when and how much snow, ice, and rain we will get from these storms.
It takes 12 hours to plow our entire community with over 500 local roads. In this single storm we spread over 250 tons of salt. We are proud of all of our staff members in every department. In these extreme conditions our crews stepped up for the safety of our community. Please stay safe and we have six (6) more weeks of winter, which we are ready for!
