2/6/2007 - ATTENTION TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS
As of 8:30AM, Tuesday, February 6, 2007, there has been a release of Sulfur Dioxide and Hydrogen Sulfide from the Valero Refinery in Paulsboro. Valero states that the odor is contained and shall dissipate the area shortly. There is no health risk to the community. County CBRNE, Health and Environmental personnel are on location and monitoring the situation. DEP is aware of the situation. A hotline has been setup for further information of (856) 224-6177. Only call this hotline if your area is being affected.
