On Saturday, September 25, 2010, Deptford Police Department will participate in "Operation Take Back New Jersey." This program will afford New Jersey residents the opportunity to rid their homes of their unused, unwanted, and expired medicine. Unwanted medications will be collect in the police lobby from 10am till 2pm.

The goal of the program is to allow the citizens of New Jersey to deliver all of their unused, unwanted, or expired medications to law enforcement officials who can in turn dispose of these controlled substances in a safe and non-hazardous manner, preventing these pills from falling into the hands of juveniles or into the illicit market in our communities.


No syringes or other sharp objects will be accepted.
