Township Council commends Deptford Public Works Department and the Deptford MUA for an outstanding job keeping our roads safe during this season’s first winter storm. We always urge everyone to have an Emergency Action Plan in place for your home and family. Even though we received only 3.5 of snow, the freezing temperatures and freezing rain made things difficult.
We had crews out Wednesday putting brine down on roads to prepare for this event. As snow started falling crews were out salting then plowing into Thursday night. We began again on Friday morning. Thank you to our crews for their dedication and working the long hours to keep our roads safe.
