Licenses & Permits

The Clerk is the Administrative Officer which requires the acceptance and issuance of the following licenses and permits:

Raffles, Bingo, Carnival - you may download a Bingo ApplicationRaffle ApplicationAmendment to Bingo & Raffle ApplicationSample Ticket (off premises merchandise) and a Sample Ticket (off premises awarding cash)form here or forms may also be obtained in the Township Clerk's Office.

One Day Liquor License Application

Block Parties - you may download a Block Party Application here along with the Block Party Ordinance explaining the rules and regulations for holding a Block Party or you may also obtain these forms in the Township Clerk's Office.

Meeting Rooms - Deptford Township encourages community use of Township Meeting rooms providing such use does not interfere with the programs and functions of the Township.  The meeting room is available for use by the community for any public function of an educational, cultural, intellectual or charitable nature.  You may download the Meeting Room Policy and Application here explaining the rules and regulations for use of such room or you may also obtain these forms in the Township Clerk's Office.

Landlord Registration - according to the State Law N.J.S.A. 46:8-28 - a landlord in New Jersey must register with the Township Clerk for eviction purposes.  Landlord registration forms are to be completed and filed in the Landlord Registration Division Office.  If the registration forms are not filed, a landlord can be fined up to $500.00.  Forms may be obtained in the Landlord Registration Division Office or by downloading one here .

The Clerk's Office in conjunction with the Tax Collector issues Assessment Search Certificates and serves as information officer to the public.

This office is the Records Coordinator and Manager which implements, manages and maintains local archives and records retention programs as mandated by State Law.
